Post subject: widows fax and scan settings

I a running vista ultimate 64 and a hp scanjet g4050. All updates are
current.
When I go to windows fax and scan then to document profiles the choose
paper size option is grayed out and no there are no paper size choices
to be made.

Can anyone help?
