Post subject: How to disable phishing filter
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>vista>mail (more info?)

More than hakf of the messages I get are being picked up as suspected
phishing, and I have to manually go through and unblock them. This is a huge
pain the the neck. I can't find any advice on how to change settings or turn
it off. Is there a way?

Turn the phishing block off: Tools, Junk E-mail Options, Phishing... Thank you...thank you...thank you. Another thing I couldn't do was 'Unblock' it, or forward it. I received a fraudulent email ('phishing' email) supposedly from TD Bank, but I couldn't forward it to the appropriate TD Bank phishing site, nor could I copy/paste the email, the only thing that happened when I clicked 'forward' was that it went into an 'application'. I sent it anyway to the TD anti-phising and then deleted it. Any help with this for future reference? I have the filter on. When I unblock a message, it simply disappears - not in the inbox, not in junk mail, not in deleted items. I like to be warned, but what happens to messages i unblock? where can i find the disappearing messages? >> Stay informed about: How to disable phishing filter

If you are using Windows Mail, an unblocked message should go into the Inbox. you seem to be in the know. I have 1 contact that keeps coming up in the Junk email as phishing. I unblock it and it goes to the Inbox. I just want this 1 contact to be unblocked. If that contact's messages are always designated as "phishing", then you can't unblock that contact from being flagged by the phishing feature.
