Post subject: how to delete windows.old
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>vista>administration_accounts_passwords (more info?)

I keep trying to delete the windows.old files as it is taking up tons of
space. I can't get it to delete. It keeps telling me I don't have sufficient
privledges, but I am the administrator.

Take ownership of the folder - or delete each folder inside the Windows.old
folder one by one - or boot in safe mode and delete through there Surprised)

forget the ownerships...just go to acessories>system tools?disk
cleanup...scan the system drive with it.delete the old files...worked in
x32....Very Happy:geek:Cool
