Vista stops responding in a very serious mode!!!

Hello,

I'm close to throwing Vista on the window (the "real" one, not the one in
Windows), because of the VERY SERIOUS mode it stops responding sometimes.
When I do something, I realise that the mouse doesn't move. Odd. I verify
the keyboard. Same response, which means none. I try reconnecting them
(they're wireless). Nonsense. I try putting the computer in Hibernation, by
the main Power button (on the PC unit). Nothing. No change if you wait. The
only thing I can do is closing the PC forced (keep the Power button pressed
4 seconds). When I reboot, back to normal.
And let's get some things straight:
- This is NOT because of a disk activity! When it stops responding, the Disk
Access LED is off.
- This happens rarely. I purchased Vista about 1-2 months ago and since then
it happened 4 times.

I'll try digging more, but any kind of help is (seriously) appreciated. ^_^

Can't offer any reason why other than to confirm I've seen Windows do
similar things are worse. For example since I've had Vista it has
froze in a hibernation state several times with the screen going
totally black and the keyboard and mouse completely unresponsive. The
problem is I have hibernation TURNED OFF, always have had it turned
off, Vista shows it turned off, yet dumb old Visita will for unknown
reasons go to sleep anyway, maybe it's just tired. I know it entered
hibernation mode since a slight tab on the power button on my computer
wakes Vista up again.

Other times Vista obviously gets consumed by some memory leak. There's
another thread where somebody else is logging this. Poorly designed
Explorer will hog more and more system resources until such time you
PC slows to a crawl, then usually locks up and you're lucky if you can
go to Task Manager and shut down. This is just two of at least a
dozen serious "bugs" the fanboys here pretend either don't exist,
isn't serious or they are actually ignorant enough to cackle; so what,
all operating systems have bugs, what do you expect, blah, blah, blah.
A sure sign the fanboy crowd has been brainwashed into accepting that
buggy software is normal and should be expected and accepted, you
should wait for the service pack and assorted other dummy comments
they keep making, which at least provides some entertainment value.
