Well, you didn't address the other folder possibilities in your original
problem statement, so I had to make sure.

Yes of course I have been looking in the delete and junk e-mail folder and
they simply have disappeared. The other day I sent an e-mail with an
attachment which registered as "sent" in the sent folder. Shortly after, one
of those mailer daemon message appeared for a fraction of a second and
disappeared right away. This is SCARY as I can't even be sure that my
e-mails have been sent.
